So what are the best packaging products used in such an industry and how does the industry use them effectively? Product packaging for berries step 1: Farm pick. Well first, when berries like strawberries or blueberries are picked from the farms, they should be loaded directly into plastic crates. These plastic crates are efficient because they are easily stackable and also provide ventilation to the freshly picked berries.
Because of ease in stacking, a picker can pick large amounts of berries in a go without worrying about loading the crates individually in trucks. The crates used during this process should be smaller in size than normal crates.

The trucks then take these freshly picked berries to a plant where they will be treated, packed and ready to be shipped.
