Why does xbox one suck

Service though I was gifted an Xbox One some years ago would never buy one myself, given its horrid games library relative to Sony and especially Nintendo. It's a horrific user experience. Update every time I turn it on combined with absolutely lousy download speeds I have a gigabit connection I know I don't live exactly close to major civilization, but that is so slow relative to every other content provider.

These updates seem to be re-inventing the wheel for the UI every time too, which means stuff is constantly shuffled about for no real reason.

Ads everywhere. Annoying prompts constantly. Login or you might as well not own this console. It is just the worst user experience and it makes it so I never, ever use it, and should've just sold it the moment I got it Awful console. Put fascists and sociopaths on your ignore list. Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words.

They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

Nintendo Switch is pretty good imo, but I grew up playing smash and zelda so I'm biased to those games even if I spend more time playing on my PC. Is there super secret ending as well?

Our flat PS3 is still running hot here, and still cool. It's holding up very nicely indeed for something used extensively over a decade doubling as a Blu-ray player and a device charger. But the best item, no comparison, 3 of them in our household, is the Nintendo Switch - fantastic - and several games have cross-platform compatibility.

I have no intention buying anything newer at this point in time. PC for the win! My PS4 and ps4 pro are still going strong, the switch is getting a little less use because i'm only using it away from home. And i'm getting PS5 as soon as i can. Will play everything at least 2 hours everyday. You can post now and register later. If you have an account, sign in now to post with your account. Opens the window to PlayStation Land Nope, turns out I was wrong, it actually looks like Sony is in fact just a huge multinational company that only cares about money, they certainly don't care about keeping your personal information safe and secure.

Out of curiosity I would like to know when you purchased the XB1? How much you paid for the console? What accessories did you get with it? Where did you buy it from? Independent Developer Xbox Ambassador. In reply to deleted message. NO it isn't. PS is great. It's so good, that you're not on it now. You'd rather join the xbox support forums spamming old forum posts.

I'm glad I'm not on the PS. You must be so bored if your here. Anyways, enjoy your time here. Puppy Fujo Xbox Ambassador. If they cannot continue to innovate, surely will they be swallowed up by the competition. With Sony keeping their upcoming Playstation under wraps, they are definitely observing and taking into account everything that their rival is doing wrong. And by the looks of it, the head-to-head between the two technology platforms may become a landslide.

And not in favor of the Xbox One. It even sounds whack when you say it. These are the 10 reasons why it's going to suck. There is no denying that the new Xbox is bulkier than ever.

And while it surely has more capabilities, doesn't it seem kind of counter-productive for them to add all of this mass?

Given the exact specs have yet to be revealed, the new console is undoubtedly larger than its past generation counterpart, which has us thinking. Technology today allows smarter processing systems to be stored in the most compact of devices. But for some reason, the "game console of the future" is bigger. While it still looks pretty sweet, the last thing we want is another space-eater in the living room. Oh well. One of the biggest knocks on the Xbox was its big ass controller.

While it was pretty clunky, surely they would patch up any deficiencies and optimize it to be better for the new generation. But upon initial review, not much looks different. Sure the d-pad has been adjusted to no longer be circular, but this is the best they could do?

Also the battery pack in the back has been removed so that it no longer protrudes but these are just changes that should have been done in the first place. What about some innovation? If this is truly the "next generation" then let's see some real difference.

While we can't say much until we actually use it, we have to say that we are underwhelmed. At least they put rumblers in the triggers. That should make a world of difference, I guess. Probably not though. Say what? You mean I can't play the dozens of games that I've accumulated over eight years with the and use it on this new expensive console? There is absolutely no backwards compatibility and this is one of the biggest disappointments about the One so far.

I guess we'll just have to get used to never picking up those old games again.
